Mary Anne's first book through Conari Press

210 pages of inspiring, uplifting and thought provoking ideals.

"Every once in a while, if we are lucky, a book finds us and, once read, leaves an incredible mark for the rest of our lives. It's the book you tell everyone about, the book that touches your heart and your soul, the book you leave on the nightstand with folded pages and highlighted verse. This is one of those special books. Mary Anne takes words and arranges them into sentences and feelings you will never forget. Buy this book for yourself and every important person in your life." -Deborah Stephens, co-author of This Is Not the Life I Ordered

"Lean Forward into Your Life is a book about boldly looking forward and daring to move through life's obstacles with honesty, joy, and velocity. Mary Anne Radmacher is someone who demands that we 'live with intention,' and it is clear that her intention is to be an explorer: always charging into the unknown, logging her journeys, and charting new landscapes for the benefit of the rest of us. Lean Forward is the most comprehensive map she has created for our enjoyment thus far." -Dallas Dellinger, Editor, Quotable Cards

"Mary Anne learned meaningful answers to the meaning of life and shares her recipe with us in this book." -from the foreward by Paul Leopolus, founder of the THEA Foundation

"Lean Forward into Your Life is not only poetic art, it is memoir at its most unveiling, wrapped in Mary Anne's gentle guidance for living a fuller, generous life. This is a book of healing and grace meant to give to one's friends and, yes, to give as a gift to oneself. Bravo!" -Jane Kirkpatrick, author of A Clearing in the Wild and A Land of Sheltered Promise

Excerpt from page 54: in each moment seize the opportunity to experience grand wonder . . after the wonder, joy comes in.

there is a song so deep within the soul it is only heard as laughter. from the fountain of our beliefs come the graces of our lives.

hope flies on its own wings, carried on winds of laughter, it will always find its way to the heart it calls home.

laugh. it is the quickest bridge between strangers and the finest path between friends.

I’ll tell anybody for certain that owning your own business is not for the faint of heart. Something outrageously difficult had just occurred. It was jaw-dropping bad news just when we were certain that we had heard all the bad news there was to hear. Tony and I stared at each other. Silent. Breathless. The wretchedness of the confluence of seemingly tragic business events snapped both of us and we cascaded into fits of uncontrolled laughter. Gasping for breath, Tony summarized the situation perfectly:

The thing about falling into an old well is that you might discover You have water after all.

Laugh right out loud. Even if you’re the only one laughing. Write a truly moment down, remember it. Spread the joy. The next time a conversation takes an undesirable turn, share this thing, which made you laugh. At the very least - you'll laugh again.

Excerpt from page 161: we are remembered from the ways we have walked our ideals. at the heart of history is this reminder—you paint the colors of your days.

recognize that your spiritual self is a crucial voice in the whole of your life. Recognize what you believe and begin to comprehend why you believe it. Your spirituality is intrinsic to growth, the process of change, creative expression—all essential processes of living.

from perspective comes unusual courage. from a place of isolation comes unexpected breathless beauty. for all the times you have sewn strings on the buttons of my spirit . . . for all the roots you have nurtured, for all the ways you helped me to see dirt as an opportunity to grow. you teach so many ways of thinking paths to learning. having you as a teacher has given me the vision and the strength to teach . . . and the courage to learn.

there is synthesis. there is silence. then there are spaces in between the two.
